At Nine Wedding, we cherish hearing about each couple's unique origin story; the journey that brought the both of you to this moment, along with your distinct quirks and idiosyncrasies.
By taking the time to understand your dynamic as a couple, we are able to craft a photoshoot which accurately reflects the joy you share being with each other. It could be as simple as re-enacting a moment from the past that brought you laughter, or perhaps finding humour in the little things that might have mildly annoyed you.
Our photos aim to capture your connection in a relaxed and comfortable setting, whether it's revisiting the place where the both of you first met, the location of your first date, or where you celebrated an anniversary, we would love to capture a chapter in your love story through our lens.

No distance is too great when it comes to capturing the special meaning of your love story. Whether it's from one end of the country to another, if a specific location holds significance for you and your partner, that's where we will go.
If you're undecided about the location, here are some recommendations based on our previous experiences:
We joyfully explore diverse settings, from indoors to outdoors, all dedicated to making your photoshoot truly one-of-a-kind.
Our photoshoots are flexible and tailored to your preferences. If there's a specific time of day that you prefer to have your photos taken, we'll be there to capture it.
Based on our experience, the most popular timings are either 7-9am or 5-7pm. These time slots offer favourable lighting conditions, with softer, more flattering light compared to harsh midday sun. Not to mention that it is also generally cooler during these hours. Plus, they often coincide with the magical golden hour, adding an extra touch of warmth and charm to your photos.
Regardless, whether it's dawn, dusk, or any time in between, we will accommodate to your schedule and be there to help you capture your special moments at the perfect time.

Don't worry about looking stiff – our skilled photographers are more than capable of guiding you through any poses.
To help you loosen up and feel more comfortable in front of the camera, we've developed a simple 3-step process:
- Warm up with easy and generic poses
We will start the photoshoot with candid shots and some simple poses such holding hands and portraits. - Casual poses
As you start to feel more comfortable, we'll move into capturing more intimate and romantic moments, such as gentle embraces and playful interactions. We will keep things casual and playful, doing that helps keep you feel relaxed, which results in more natural looking photos. - Advanced poses
If you're feeling adventurous, here is where we can try out all the fancy poses. Feel free to draw inspiration online and show them to us and we will try our best to recreate them for you. Here's an example of an advanced pose we did for a couple.
However, if the thought of posing still concerns you, rest assured – it's perfectly fine for the photoshoot to consist solely of candid moments, eliminating the need for formal poses. This will allow you to be entirely natural throughout the entire session.
We want to create a comfortable and safe environment for you to express yourselves. So, don't hesitate to let loose and enjoy the experience – the best moments often happen when you least expect them.Those split second moments in between formal shots are often where the best and most genuine photos are taken. A trick we like to use to capture these photos are that when we tell couples that the shot is over, we take just a few more of those after moments.
In the event of rain on the day of your shoot, you may contact us 1 hour beforehand to re-schedule.
Alternatively, we could also shift the photoshoot to an indoor location, or embrace the rain with a unique outdoor shoot using clear umbrellas.
We don't provide stylists as they aren't necessary for this photoshoot, but here are 2 quick tips styling tips for you:
- Consider wearing an inner tee, especially for the guys.
This will help prevent sweat marks from showing through your shirt in your photos. - Coordinate outfits with your partner.
Wearing matching outfits will give your photos that extra bit of cuteness and fun, it is a simple way to enhance the visual cohesion of your images.
On average, each session lasts approximately 1-2 hours per location.
Do note that if your photoshoot includes multiple locations within the same session, travel time between locations is included in the overall engagement hours.
You will receive your photos in 10-14 days, in a custom online gallery.
Feel free to bring along props or items that hold any sort of meaning for both of you. We love incorporating these cherished items into the photoshoot, making your photos that even more personalised.
Whether it's a ring, a gift exchanged, or even a bouquet of flowers, these personal touches add a beautiful layer to your photos.
An additional tip is to bring along a set of comfortable shoes with you, in case if you're walking a lot between locations.
