Proposal Photoshoot at Botanic Garden

What started as a simple couple photoshoot quickly turned into one of the sweetest surprise proposals.✨

D & D had never done a shoot together before and weren’t sure how to pose — but that’s where the fun came in. We kept things easy and light, coming up with poses and directions together as we went. It made the whole experience feel relaxed, spontaneous, and full of laughter.

We had originally planned for the proposal to happen at the iconic Bandstand in Botanic Gardens… but when we arrived, a wedding was already in full swing there! So we quickly pivoted — moving just slightly off the area and using the Bandstand as a beautiful backdrop instead. A little behind-the-scenes magic (and some spot removals!) made everything look clean and perfect in the final gallery.

And in the middle of it all, surrounded by greenery and golden light, he got down on one knee — and she said yes.

A proposal full of love, quick thinking, and the kind of joy you just can’t stage. So excited to have been part of this beautiful moment!
